NoomiClone Online: One Bar, One Scene, One Body
NoomiClone is a browser game about a ragdoll gymnast and a high bar. You hang from the bar, you swing, and the only things you actually control are the shape of the body and the moment you let go. The browser build runs a single scene: two pale bar frames on a red floor, a blue sky with flat clouds, and a black jointed figure already hanging when the page finishes loading. There is no map select, no menu between attempts, and nothing to unlock. Press play and you are on the bar.
That is a deliberately small game. Whatever holds you past the first minute has to come from the swing itself, because there is no content behind it.
What the Regrab Count Tells You After the First Hour
The counter at the top of the screen reads 0 regrabs, and it moves when you catch the bar again. The official move list names that move Bar Regrab, so the number counts catches rather than points. There is no timer beside it and no accuracy figure underneath it. The store listings for NoomiClone mention no leaderboard and no online play, and nothing in the browser build resets on a schedule. Your history is the length of one session.
That leaves an unusual kind of progress: the game measures you and then forgets. Coming back tomorrow means comparing against a number you have to remember yourself, which is the closest this build gets to a daily challenge.
NoomiClone Screenshots: The Arch, the Flight, the Reset

NoomiClone Controls: Four Keys, Four Different Costs
- 1Arch bends the body backward. On the bar it changes where the swing is heading, and in the air it changes how fast the body turns. The label is the entire instruction, so the timing is the part you have to work out. (Left arrow)
- 2Tuck pulls the knees in. A tucked body is the tightest shape available, and tucking and arching sit at opposite ends of the same dial. Pick the shape before the release, because that is the shape the flight inherits. (Space)
- 3Let Go releases the bar. It is the only input in the set that cannot be taken back: everything before it is preparation, and after it you are watching a body in the air. (Up arrow)
- 4Reset puts the figure back over the bar without reloading the page. In the browser build it is how you try the same swing again from the bar instead of from the floor. (R)
NoomiClone Tips: Aiming the Release at the Second Bar
Height before speed
Most attempts that end early were not too slow, they were too soon. Releasing near the top of the swing leaves the longest flight and the most time to see where the body is heading.
Two frames, one unanswered question
The scene holds a bar frame on each side of the floor, and the air screenshot shows the figure travelling from one toward the other. Whether the far bar is catchable is something the game never explains; the regrab counter is the only hint that catching is the thing being measured.
The shape survives the release
Arch and tuck are body poses, not one-shot moves, and the pose you leave with is the pose the flight starts from. Choosing it a second before letting go is more reliable than choosing it during the drop.
Read the floor
Both frames cast hard shadows on the red floor, and those shadows are the only spatial reference the build gives you apart from the bar itself. They are a better height gauge than the figure, which is small and nearly black against the sky.
NoomiClone Reset Timing: When a Run Is Already Over
A missed release ends the attempt fast. The figure falls, lands on the red floor and lies there, and no key in the set picks it up except R. Because reset is instant and free, the habit it encourages is the wrong one: pressing it the moment the bar is lost skips the only useful part of a failure, which is watching where the body actually went. The three screenshots above are the three states a run passes through, and the middle one is the one worth pausing on. A reset taken before you can say why the release missed buys a clean screen and no new information.
There is a practical line here too. If the swing itself felt wrong from the first frame, reset immediately; the attempt has nothing to teach. If the swing felt right and the flight did not, stay on the floor for a second and look at the landing.
NoomiClone Mobile App vs the Browser Build: 18 Maps Against One
The phone app is a different product from this page, and the gap is wide enough to decide which one you want before you start. Google Play describes 12 bar maps and 6 tumbling maps, slow motion for timing, replays you can export as video, and buttons you can move and resize. The app is on version 2.3.2, updated in October 2026, with 5M+ installs and 4.4 stars across 16.5K reviews. The browser build reports version 0.9, and the itch listing still marks it In development.
The move list shows the same split. The official list includes pike, layout, squat, twist, flash kick and stuck landing, while the browser scene carries only arch, tuck, let go and reset. Those extra moves belong to the app build.
So the browser version is best read as a free, instant slice of a larger game, not as the whole thing. Comments on the itch page point players to the phone version when they ask about changing maps.
