Sports Games
Sports games on this site are decision games, not action games. Nothing gets steered and no defender gets outrun: the sport arrives as a situation, and the whole of the play is the call made inside it.
This category collects those titles on Summer Rider. Right now it holds 2 Minute Drill, one real NFL endgame a day, and its page is the place to see what the grade measures.

Reading the Controls Before Calling a Play
Everything in 2 Minute Drill is a menu, so the control question is how fast a button can be reached. There are no movement keys because there is no player under your control. A click picks the play family, a second picks the call inside it, and on pass plays a click on a receiver changes the route before the snap. Twenty-seven calls sit on the board, and each large button carries a number that fires it directly.
That shape suits a wide screen better than a phone, since the call sheet is not a corner of the interface but the interface itself. The keyboard path is worth learning too: tab moves between controls, enter confirms, and space skips the snap animation when the grade matters more than the replay.
- Learn the number keys for the three calls you would pick anyway.
- Check whether a page lists the keyboard path or only the mouse one.
- Note what is being graded before caring about the final score.
Why the Grade and the Score Disagree
2 Minute Drill grades the call, not the result. Every option on the board is simulated hundreds to thousands of times, the win probability each one produces is compared with the best available, and the gap becomes the colour on the card. Green means the best call or within half a point of it; red is anything worse than a five-point gap. A completed pass on the wrong call still grades red, and a dropped pass on the right call still grades green.
That is a stricter test than a scoreboard, and it is why a lost game can still read as a clean session. The mode list follows the same logic: Daily gives one endgame and one score with a percentile attached, Survivor chains random fourth quarters, Versus is head-to-head college overtime, and Pro is a one-off 4.99 dollars that unlocks historical battles and past dailies. Start with Daily if the appeal is the same situation everyone else answered today; the other three are for keeping going once that one situation is spent.
